Our First Christmas Tree

Merry Christmas!!!

Winter Storm

One day it is 70 degrees and the next its 30. You can't ever predict what Houston weather will be like. And today, Bill left for Dallas at 5am and after just talking to him, he will have to stay the night since it is now 26 degrees and raining in Dallas. He said there was ice all over the roads and wrecks everywhere. So, he'll be home tomorrow once the roads warm up and we'll get ready to do it all over again on Thursday.

Other than that, we got our tree up on Sunday and it is beautiful...pictures to come. :)

I hope everyone is staying inside and keeping warm. Love you all.

Crazy Week

This week it feels like we didn't stop! Bill left for Austin at 5am Wednesday morning for work and I got up with him at 4am to work on contracts. He got home late last night and after sleeping for 12 hours, we took a 2.5 hour nap today! Needless to say, work is crazy....for the both of us. We cannot even tell you how excited we are that the Christmas holidays are coming up. We are in desperate need of R and R!!!

Other than work, we have been trying to get out our Christmas cards, we re-arranged our apartment and have been Christmas shopping. This afternoon we are planning to head over to Mr. T's for a visit as well as to Russell and Jill's so we can see them and Baby Luke. Tomorrow we are off to get our Christmas tree and we will be spending the day together listening to a Peanuts Christmas, decorating the tree, baking gifts for friends and colleagues and possibly even watching some Christmas Vacation.

We hope everyone is doing well. Love you all.

A Great Weekend in Dallas

Bill and I had a blast in Dallas last weekend. Friday I flew up there - Bill picked me up and we headed to the hotel. We went out to dinner at a place called The Butcher Shop and it was delicious! Of course we both had steak and afterwards we went to a cute coffee shop for dessert. It was a fabulous date night. :)

Saturday, Bill woke up at the crack of dawn to go to the IBM jobsite while I stayed sleeping. I later got up and took a cab into downtown and we went to lunch together. While waiting for him to finish up at work, I took the car and bravely drove around downtown Dallas looking for cute shops. That night we went to several different bars and then ended up eating at Texas Land and Cattle.

Sunday we woke up late, were lazy and then drove back to Houston. It was a very relaxing, stress free weekend. It was the best!

Busy Busy

Well this week I am mucho excited because Bill and I are spending the weekend together in Dallas. I am flying up tomorrow afternoon and we will drive back to Houston together on Sunday. I've only ever been to Dallas once for a work conference so I'm excited about exploring and going on a mini-trip with my husband. :)

Next weekend Bill and I are going to Austin and we haven't decided if I will fly to Austin or Dallas on Friday or if Bill will come home and we will drive to Austin on Saturday morning. Nonetheless, we are excited about seeing Stephen, Stacy and the kids.

One thing I was thinking about today...I cannot believe it is nearly Thanksgiving. It seems like last week it was summer! I guess time flies when your having fun - or staying busy - which Bill and I have been doing both of.

Last weekend we had the party in Houston for our wedding, hosted graciously by the Gammons and Bill and I had a blast. I was so glad I finally got to meet everyone I had heard so much about. It was fun and I hope to have the pictures soon.

Other than that, if you didn't know, Bill and I will be in Macon this year for Thanksgiving. We leave on Tuesday and will be back first thing Monday morning. I am excited about going home and spending time with friends and family. I was adamant that we be in Houston for Christmas so we decided to spend Turkey Day with the Carden's, Garvin's, Davidson's and Ms. Thurston (which if you didn't know those are my parent's, my step-sister and her family, my step-brother and his family and Sally's mom).

Also, Bill has a birthday coming up (Dec. 2nd) so I'm trying to think of good ideas for presents.... :)

We hope everyone has a great weekend! Love you all!!

Happy Halloween!

Bill is headed back from Dallas this afternoon and we hope everyone has a SPOOKTACULAR Halloween! Below are some pictures from the costume party Bill and I went to last weekend. He was the ACDC lead singer and I was the 80's groupie. Enjoy!

Happy October!

Well it has been a while since I've posted so I'll get you up to speed on our routine:

Monday - VA & BT work all day - cook dinner at night
Tuesday - Same
Wednesday - Work all day and get Bill ready for Dallas
Thursday - Wake up INSANELY early for Bill to leave for Dallas - VA works all day, usually late
Friday - Work all day - VA works late and waits for Bill to come home (usually around 8-9pm)
Saturday - Sleep Late then Longhorn football!!
Sunday - Relax, wash clothes, run errands, see family - get ready for another long week

So, as you can see we are living the wild life!! Not really but we are starting to get used to our new routine and Bill traveling so things are working out for the best. I absolutely love Bill working from home 3 days a week - I used to never come home and him already be there so it is a nice change of pace.

In other news, I started Christmas shopping last night and I am so excited! Bill and I will be in Houston this year for Christmas and I am super excited about having Christmas dinner with my new family and spending my first Christmas with my husband. Life is good.

As far as work goes, things are still moving along at the Medical Clinic - we are due to wrap up the project in February 2009 and then I will be on to something else! Bill is settling in at Skanska and learning the ropes of IBM Texas so all is well.

We hope everyone else is having a great October and if I don't post before....Happy Halloween!!!

Hurricane Ike

I think that Bill and I have talked to most everyone since the Hurricane but in case we haven't, we just want to let you all know that we are alive and well and sustained virtually no damage to our apartment. :) We were only without power for about a day and then luckily we got it turned back on and then Russell, Jill and Luke came to stay with us. We had a blast with them and it felt like having a real live slumber party for 3 days! It was fun but then their power came back on so they moved back home. Since then most everyone we know has power back so that is good news.

Thank you to everyone who was praying for us and keeping in touch. It means a lot to Bill and I both that there are so many people out there who love us and care about us.

As far as Houston goes, the aftermath is pretty awful, just in the fact that you can't drive down the street without seeing down power lines, debris, huge branches stacked on the side of the road, etc. I have never experienced anything like this before and it is interesting.

My jobsite sustained virtually no damage due to the Hurricane which we were all ecstatic about and since we got power back at the job on Wednesday, work is pretty much back to normall.

We hope everyone is doing great and has an even better week. We love you all.

Family Photo

I haven't updated the blog with any pictures in a while so here is one of my family...

And speaking of family...we had Bill's dad over for dinner last night and it was the first time we used our fine china!! I was so excited about using our new plates (thank you Mr. T) and new salad bowl (thank you Dad and Sally). Bill and I cleaned like champs yesterday and we deemed our apartment the cleanest it had ever been! :)

Today we went to Crate and Barrel and Barnes and Nobles to get a few things and now Bill and I are "working". As you can see, updating my blog is far more important so I'll catch up on the work stuff this week.

Just to let everyone know, it isn't even raining here in Houston yet so I think we got lucky with Gustav - the rain is supposed to come in tonight but other than that, hopefully it won't do any damaging effects.

We hope everyone has a great week!

Good Week

Well Bill and I have both been busy busy this past week - but it was a good week! We were both busy with work, then I helped give a training seminar all day Wednesday (plus I've got to go to Dallas in 3 weeks and give this same seminar), Friday we finally got released for Level 6 at MCH (for those of you who don't know, this had been a long time coming!) and this weekend we took it easy, cooked out with Russell, Jill and Luke, ordered our announcements (Finally!) and relaxed!!

We are both getting ready for a hectic week next week but for us - every week is pretty hectic! Thursday, Bill and I are going to a Texans game (my first Texans game!) with my boss and his wife so I am excited about that and next weekend is Labor Day - whoohoooo - 3 day weekend!! No plans as of yet but we will probably try and schedule something this week...

Well I hope all of you had a great week and we will talk to everyone soon!

Getting Over Being Sick

Well Bill and I have pretty much been sick for the past 2 weeks so needless to say, we haven't done much. This week we went to the Look's house for dinner which was wonderful and other than that we have just been at home...watching the Olympics!

This weekend we have some work to do, clean up around the house, wash clothes....you know...the usual...and hopefully get back to 100% and ready for another week.

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted....there hasn't been much to tell since we've been sick. :( Anyway, I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

One Month Anniversary!

Well today Bill and I celebrated our 1 month anniversary as a married couple by working and me going to the doctor. Apparently over the weekend in Austin I developed an allergic reaction to something that caused me to break out into a severe rash. I thought last night that it would go away once we got home and I took a shower, etc. but this morning it got worse. So (luckily) I went to the Med Clinic of Houston, next door, and I got to see a doctor almost immediately...(it's not what you know...it's WHO you know!) and he told me I was having an allergic reaction. So, a fun anniversary gift; me taking steroids and high powered anti-histamines and Bill taking care of me. Who knew we'd get to the "in sickness and in health" part so quickly??

Other good news is I got a new computer from work; a new MAC Book so I am pretty happy about that! At least something good happened today amongst all the itching! So, we'll see if I head back to work tomorrow or if I stay home (depends on the rash).

I hope you all have a great week and look forward to getting your announcement from us soon!

Happily Married

Bill and I celebrated our 1 week anniversary last Saturday by cooking hamburgers and watching movies. It was wonderful! Other than that our 4th of July weekend was pretty uneventful and we stayed around the house, ran errands, hit some golf balls and spent the weekend together. We did go to Rice and watch about 3 minutes of fireworks on Friday night and then headed home - I guess the economy is even taking its toll on the fireworks displays.

As for me, I am getting used to my new name (I still want to say Virginia Carden) and next week I am going to the Social Security office to get it changed to Virginia Carden Thomas, legally! Also, we should be getting our scrapbook and pictures in this week (thank you Stacy!) so we can share with all of you.

We hope everyone is having a great week so far and we will talk to you soon!

Summer Fun

Sorry its been so long since I've posted but Bill and I have been busy with work, our hobby and getting ready for the beach. He and I have started playing golf pretty frequently and I love it! We played with Russell on Friday and this afternoon he and I are going to hit balls and maybe play 9 holes. I also have to mention that on Friday, I shot my first birdie...EVER...on a Par 3 hole...I couldn't believe it so needless to say, I am eager for more great shots.

Next week we are heading to the beach with the Sherrill's and the Craig's for some much needed time away from work. We are leaving Tuesday, hopefully early from work, and will be back Sunday night. I'm sure there will be some interesting pics so I'll make sure I post next week so you can see how tan I got and how sunburned Bill probably got. :-)

Also, I have to shout out to Amanda - HAPPY BIRTHDAY - because I know things will be too crazy to post on here on Tuesday - so I hope you have a great day and I will call you Tuesday!!

Anyway - I hope everyone has a great week!!

Looks Can Be Deceiving

Good Morning!

As most of you know, Bill and I did put in an offer on the house and it was accepted which meant we were headed down the mortgage road. Well, yesterday we had our inspections and we decided against the house. There were so many things that needed to be fixed and since we both work in construction ALL DAY LONG...we want a house that is much more "move in ready" for us. We still love the house, its just not for us...Oh well...back to square one...but we've realized that square one is not a bad place to be.

Hope everyone is having a great week!

House Hunting

Well this weekend Bill and I got pre-qualified for a home mortgage and went in search of our future "dream" house. We found a house in Sugar Land that we LOVE and we are heading back out there this week to look again and make a decision about whether or not to put in an offer on it. Needless to say, we are so excited!!

Other than that, pretty uneventful...this coming weekend I am going to a baby shower for a lady at work and Bill is playing golf on Friday and Saturday.

Hope all is well with everyone!

Not Much Change

Good Morning!

Well things have been very busy at work and I know Bill has been crazy busy running from first one meeting to another so there isn't much new to tell. We went this week and had a few beers with his co-workers and...Sarah S...if your reading this...I met your TWIN! But other than that it has been a pretty low key week for the future Mr. and Mrs. William H. Thomas IV.

As far as the wedding goes, we still have not decided what to do as of yet. There are still all sorts of ideas being tossed around so we'll see. The one thing we are SURE of is that we will get married this year. Decisions....Decisions!

This weekend we aren't doing much - just staying home and spending the weekend together - drama free!

I hope everyone else has a great weekend!

Long Time No Post

I know its been over a week since my last post but things are getting CRAZY here at work. Next week I am getting (2) new engineers here and we are moving out of our jobsite trailers and into the building...work is HECTIC...but still great!

Other than that, Bill and I are still talking about the wedding, making plans and looking forward to November 15. This weekend we are going to the AGC BBQ tonight, tomorrow I may go with him and Russell to play golf and then Sunday - laundry and relaxing! I hope you all have a great weekend!

Well last weekend was absolutely wonderful!! I got SO much wedding planning accomplished and I even bought my dress!!! It is BEAUTIFUL and I can't wait for everyone to see it November 15th! Dress...check! Wedding Invitations...check! Church...check! Flowers...check! Reception place...check! Photographer...check! Rehearsal Dinner...check! (Like I said, it was a BUSY weekend!)

Bill stayed here and played golf and had boy's day out with Russell and then picked me up on Sunday from the airport. It was all in all a great weekend.

This week we are heading to the Galleria one night to decide on Save the Dates and hopefully Rehearsal Dinner invites; then this weekend we are headed to Pat Green on Friday and Austin on Saturday. Busy Busy!

Medical Clinic of Houston - Jobsite Pics

Good Afternoon!

Here are some photos of the jobsite that were taken this morning. As you can see, the Garage is nearly complete and we are hard at work on the Building.

Enjoy!

Going to the Big 'D'

Well this weekend I am off to Dallas for our company meeting and I am really excited! First because I've never been to Dallas and also because I am going out on Friday night with my old Sugarland pals - who I KNOW like to have a good time! So wish me happy travels - I'll be back in Houston on Saturday afternoon.

Bill is going to dinner with his Dad on Friday and then golf with Russell on Saturday. Saturday night we (Russell, Jill, Bill and I) are going to Escalante's for dinner....I can't wait...MEXICAN!!

Other than that, we are still trying to make up our minds about wedding plans. Nothing is set in stone yet....Macon or Houston.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Home at Last!

All I can say is we are FINALLY home! Friday, I flew to Atlanta (surprisingly my flight was not more than 20 minutes late) and met Natalie, Jason, Dara and Reece at the Tavern and the 6 of us ate dinner - and it was SO good to see them!!

Then Saturday we started the LONG drive to Houston, around 10:30am and we finally got here around 2am. It would have been closer to Midnight but we got stopped for an hour and 1/2 on the interstate...like dead stopped...with the car turned off. And with being so close to the house, that was not fun at all....but we made it.

Also...Saturday night Bill and I got a call about 10pm EST from Natalie telling us that her and Jason....GOT ENGAGED!!!! YEA!!!! We just want to say congratulations again and how happy we are about it! We love Jason and they are a very good match so SSI here we come!!!!

Other than that, Bill is running errands this week while I'm at work and he starts work next Monday. We are also going to meet with 2 reception site places this week in hopes of trying to figure out where we want to have it. We are also possibly looking at the Houstonian Hotel....

Well I hope everyone has a fantastic week!

Bridesmaid's Dress!

I hope everyone is having a great week. I don't have much time to write but I have settled on my bridesmaid's dresses and I wanted you all to see. And, in case I haven't talked to you about it, Natalie will be my Maid of Honor and Dara will be my one and only Bridesmaid. :)

Note also, that this dress will be in black (not yellow like the pic) and in keeping with our black and white theme, they will both wear pearl necklaces, pearl stud earrings and black peep toe heels.

Enjoy!

Bill's Last Day at Skanska

Hip Hip Hooray!!! There is a lot going on this week...

Well today is Bill's Last Day at Skanska so I know he is happy but also sad to be leaving the people he worked with. He has officially told everyone that he will not be transferring to Skanska in Houston, but taking the job with JE Dunn and starting on March 3rd. Yea!

I am flying to Atlanta Friday night - I arrive around 7:40 - and then Bill and I are making the drive to Houston on Saturday. Depending on how he feels and how tired I am from driving, we may or may not go the full distance. It is very probable that we will stop somewhere and finish the drive on Sunday morning.

In wedding news, I went to look at a reception site last night...yikes!....and have successfully crossed that venue off my list. It was not in a good part of town (which I didn't know) and the furnishings were old to put it mildly. So tonight I am having dinner with my future Father-in-law to discuss his side of the guest list and wedding plans and possible reception sites.

Other than that, I am just ecstatic that Bill will finally be here for good this weekend and we can start wedding planning together!

Also, a lot of people have asked about our schedule for the next month or so and the following is what we have on tap so far:

Feb. 29th & Mar. 1st - I will be in Dallas for a company meeting.

Mar. 22nd & Mar. 23rd - Bill and I will be in Austin for Easter.

Mar. 29th & Mar. 30th - Bill and I will be in Austin for Lawson's birthday party.

Apr. 4th, 5th & 6th - Bill and I are going with Russell and Jill to Dallas.

My New Bag!

As all of you know, I love bags, especially monogram ones...

As promised...here is a pic of the new 'T' bag...Enjoy!

What a Weekend!

Well last weekend was eventful to say the least for Bill and I. He came in on Thursday and brough me chocolates and red tulips for Valentine's Day with a wonderfully sweet card...little did I know I was going to pay for it the rest of the weekend...

Bill was sick as a dog the rest of the weekend, starting Thursday night. He has Acute Bronchitis and was running anywhere from 100 to 102 fever all weekend. Saturday night we finally went to St. Luke's Med Center Clinic and got him some good drugs and cough medicine so we hope he is on the road to recovery.

He changed his flight info so he's not heading back to Atlanta until tomorrow morning so hopefully today he can rest and sleep while I'm at work. Keep your fingers crossed he gets to feeling better...this is a big week...he is driving out here for GOOD!!

Other than staying at home and taking care of him, we didn't do much of anything. I cleaned and washed clothes and he slept a lot and we watched movies. Pretty exciting stuff...

In wedding news, we had our first major wedding discussion this weekend and it has pretty much been decided that we WILL get married this November (exact date is unknown) and we WILL be getting married in Houston. We will have exact details by the end of March, if not sooner, as I am going this week to start looking at reception sites. Wish me luck!

Have a great week!

Happy 'Almost' Valentine's Day!

Well this has definitely been a great week. Not only am I still on a high from getting engaged last weekend but my new job - Medical Clinic of Houston is GREAT! The people out here are super friendly which makes for a very jovial jobsite. So as you can tell, I am extremely excited about the new job and even glad that I was transferred from Sugar Land.

Other than that, Bill comes to Houston tomorrow; his flight lands at 5:30 CST so I will be leaving work promptly at 4:30 tomorrow so I can have time to go home and change before meeting him at his Dad's house. For Valentine's, I'm going to cook dinner (flank steak, hashbrown casserole and green beans :) - I know your jealous!) and stay at home.

Friday, I am taking off work to go get my Texas tags and Texas driver's license...I will be official!! The rest of the day, Bill and I are going by JE Dunn to fill out some paperwork for him (maybe) and I might bring him by MCH and show him my new site. The rest of the weekend will be filled with WEDDING PLANNING! I'm very excited so I can't wait for Bill to be here permanently.

I hope you all have something fun planned for this weekend. :)

We're Engaged!!

So, as of Saturday night, Bill and I are engaged!! He flew in from Atlanta and surprised me on Saturday. I was supposed to have dinner with Russell and Jill at the Capital Grille, however, when I arrived, Bill was sitting there waiting for me! We had an amazing dinner and then later that night, at our suite at the Westin, he asked me to marry him. It was wonderful and I was completely shocked! I had no idea - thanks to Bill, Russell and Jill who are very good liars!! We are so excited and cannot wait to start planning once he moves here permanently. T-minus 12 days!!

This morning Bill is headed back to Atlanta and I am at my new project, the Medical Clinic of Houston which consists of a Clinic & Office Building as well as a parking garage - approx. 20M and I will be here until March of 2009.

I hope everyone else had a great weekend as well and we can't wait to see and talk to everyone!

More Change

Well the latest and greatest is that I'm leaving my Hospital project in Sugar Land and going to work on another project by the Medical Center. Apparently there was a PE out there who quit and they need someone with experience to come in and take over. So, I am pretty excited about it because it will be a lot better opportunity for me. I will be the main PE out there and will have another Engineer under me so in that respect it will be better. I am going to miss my peeps out at SLEH (St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital) though...but at least I will be an honorary employee at this site which means I'll still be invited to the Happy Hour's!!

Other than that, Bill gave his notice to HR and his boss yesterday and right now his last day at Skanska will be 2.20.08. Hopefully he won't have to work all of that notice out but if he does, then he'll be in Houston the weekend of the 22nd. FOR GOOD! You don't even know how excited I am about that.

Well, I hope all of you are having a good week and I'll update you on the new jobsite on Monday (my first day there).

A GREAT Weekend - Except for the Patriots

Well the only word to sum up this weekend is - WONDERFUL! Russell and I surprised Bill at the airport on Friday afternoon and then we went to pick up Jill and went to Houston's for dinner. Dinner was delicious and I was so happy to have Bill back in Houston. Saturday, Jill and I went and shopped while Russell and Bill went on a golfing excursion - that lasted all day. And I got the cutest plates and mugs from Pottery Barn! Saturday night we went to McCormick and Schmicks for dinner - just the two of us on our date and it too was fantastic. Then yesterday was Mr. T's birthday so we took him to lunch and went to his house after for a bit to visit so that was fun because usually Bill is not in town for his birthday so I know he enjoyed it.

And then last night, watching the poor Patriots. I don't even want to talk about how pitiful Tom looked. It was awful. But oh well - football is over for this season.

With that being said, Bill is on his way back to Atlanta and will fly back to Houston, next Thursday on Valentine's Day! Then hopefully the next week he will drive out here for good. Keep your fingers crossed! I hope you all had a great weekend too. Talk to you soon.

Houston weather is CRAZY

The title of this blog basically sums it up...the weather here is NUTS! This week, for example it has been 35 degrees and it has been 80 degrees. It has been windy, sunny, flooding rain and we've been under a tornado watch. ALL IN THE SAME WEEK! It is no wonder that I'm fighting a cold now. My body cannot adapt to all the change - hopefully I'll get used to it.

Other than that, I'm trying to focus at work but its hard since tomorrow is FRIDAY!! And since Bill comes in tomorrow at 5:30, I am basically counting down until then.

This weekend we are going out with Russell, Jill and Mr. T tomorrow night to Houston's (yum! and SO much better than Lupe's) and then Saturday I think Jill and I are going to Highland Village (great shopping) and BT and Russell are going to play golf. Sat. night I get an official DATE night with Bill and then Sunday we are going to eat with his Dad - its his birthday and then watching the PATRIOTS! Go Tom!!

Well I hope you all have a good weekend and we will talk to you soon!

4 More Days!

That's the only thing I can think about - 4 more days until Bill comes for the weekend! I miss him like CRAZY and I am trying to keep myself busy. The good thing about that is I just got handed a TON of work for this hospital so I will be busy this week.

Other than that, all is well in TEXAS. I got TV hooked up in our bedroom today and the Phone and Internet are coming tomorrow. And - I found my power cord...it's in Atlanta so I've got to wait for Bill to bring it on Friday before I can download pics.

This weekend was pretty much spent working on the apartment and getting laundry done. The apartment looks 100X better than it did on Thursday night which is good and hopefully BT will like it come Friday. :)

Well I've got stuff to do so I'll write more later. And post pictures soon!

Getting Up EARLY!

Well the good ole days at Skanska, where I got to work late and left early are definitely over. Now working on a base building hospital, I am on site by 6:30-7am and we normally leave around 5pm. Work is great though and I am definitely learning a lot which makes me happy - plus I am staying busy!

Other than work stuff, I have not done much to the apartment since Bill went back to Atlanta. I do plan on getting lots accomplished this weekend though so it will look half way decent when he comes out next weekend.

For other news, Bill heard from his recruiter and the company he interviewed with on Monday, JE Dunn, is planning on making him an offer! So as you can imagine we are extremely excited about that and I personally cannot wait until we are both settled here.

Well I hope you all have a good week and I promise to post pictures soon. (I can't find my Dell compuer charger so I'm going to have to buy a new one before I can download any pics.)

First Day at the Jobsite!

Well I don't have long to write but I just wanted to update everyone and say hello and things are GREAT in Houston! I am going to be working on the Sugar Land Medical Center project - which lasts until September or October of 08 and I am typing to all of you from my new MAC computer! I will post more tomorrow but I hope you all are having a great week and I will talk to you soon.

Last Day at Skanska

Well this is my last day at Skanska and I have to say, it hasn't quite hit me yet. I keep trying to mentally prepare myself that I won't ever come back to this office but it just hasn't sunk in yet. Bill told me last night it will probably hit me that I'm not coming back between Montgomery and Mobile, because there is NOTHING on that stretch of road so we'll see. Even though I have only been here just shy of 3 years, it seems like longer than that and to some degree...I am sad.

But...now it's on to bigger and better things and that excites me. I can't even contemplate how much I have to do now with unpacking (the neccessities) at our apartment, trying to make it liveable and now searching for a house. At least it will keep me busy.

Last night we all went out and had a blast - thank you to everyone who came - the food was so good! And I was glad I got to see everyone again...although I will be back soon!

I hope everyone has a great weekend and I will talk to everyone soon!

P.S. As soon as I get to Houston, I will post some pictures - most notably of the Gypsie-Mobile which is what I'm calling my car right now. It is PACKED!

Fresh Start

Well all I can say about this week is...this is it! Bill and I are loading up the Tahoe tonight and getting ready for our LONG drive tomorrow. We are hoping to leave Atlanta by about Noon and be in Houston around midnight. Tonight we are going out with friends to Old Vinings Inn for one more hoorah! before I leave.

Don't blame us if we don't touch base with everyone this weekend as we have a lot going on and a LOT to do before Monday morning. But we will talk to everyone, hopefully next week and let you know how things are going.
